A. Manette Ansay’s Vinegar Hill is a wonderful story about Ellen, mother, wife and daughter-in-law, who struggles to survive in a family of unhappy, unpleasant people. The book will not be to everyones’s liking, but I found it a terrific read, and ultimately uplifting. Highly recommended.
