Whilst browsing in the Dorking branch of Waterstones, I came across Stuff Matters by Mark Miodnownik. I might have bought it if I hadn’t been looking for Christmas presents for other people!
An hour later, I switch on the BBC 24 hours news channel and there is Mark Miodnownik discussing his book Stuff Matters!
Will there be another coincidence with the book appearing in my Christmas stocking? Watch this space! [Update: NO!]
