Never Go Back by Lee Child is the third novel I have read by this author.
As with the previous books, I raced through it, reading the first 350 pages (of 500) on the same day! But then I couldn’t read for a couple of days, and on returning to the story I found I had lost the pace I had experienced on the first day, and by the end of the book I was losing interest.
The story is a glorified chase ending in an anti-climax. Our hero is invincible, threatens violence and uses violence. Strangely, the bad guys don’t carry guns, which I feel they would have found useful!
I will try to read my next Lee Child novel without breaks!
Have your say! (No need for any ID!)
