Painshill Park is a beautiful, 18th century park in Surrey. As well as stunning scenery there’s a grotto, a waterwheel and a tower. Amazingly, a third of the way up the tower’s winding staircase, there’s a small café. The view at the top is not great, but it’s still worth making the effort.
