Taken at 9pm, the stars / earth must have moved during the 30 second shutter speed!
I took this picture just before 9pm – it was very dark, but 15 seconds exposure, ISO 400, f/6.3 and manual focus, it’s amazing what a little camera can capture. Plus a little help from Photoshop!

First pictures from a new camera. After my Sony RX100 died and I was reminded how heavy the DSLR is, I decided to replace the Sony RX100 v1 with…. another Sony RX100 v1. Because it’s a great little camera!
This was taken late afternoon – briefly there were hailstones.

We started the day with porridge. Big flakes of oats in a small dish – with syrup. When I was a kid my mum would serve up a large plate of smooth porridge such that the edges would cool down quickly and form a sort of skin – and we added far more syrup than would be advisable these days.
